About Personalcapital.com Prices and Cost?
Personal Capital is a free financial app and wealth management company that offers a suite of tools to help users gain insight into their investments. It provides features such as the retirement fee analyzer, retirement planner, saving planner, and multiple investment performance tools. Users can sign up for a free Personal Capital account online with an email address and some basic personal information. Once the account is set up, users can connect their financial accounts to import all of their financial details.
For those interested in the wealth management services provided by Personal Capital, there is a minimum requirement of $100,000 in invested assets to get started. There’s an all-inclusive fee for Personal Capital’s wealth management service based on a percentage of the assets managed. Users with a balance over $100,000 will pay 0.89% and users with a balance over $1 million will pay 0.79% to 0.49%.
In addition to the free service, Personal Capital also has a paid service for private clients that provides tax-efficient portfolio customization and private equity access, plus a suite of banking services through partner BNY Mellon. This review only covers Personal Capital’s free services. Personal Capital is totally free to use. Like many free personal finance services, Personal Capital has its own business of sharing information about you with its "marketing partners," but it does not sell or allow your information to be used for any purpose other than to market its own products and services. It also never shares sensitive financial information, such as account numbers, detailed account balances or transaction history, with its marketing partners.
